Strawberry & Burrata, Composed

Ingredients

  • 1 ball of burrata

  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, halved or quartered

  • 1 tsp local honey

  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Handful of roasted pistachios, roughly crushed

  • A few leaves of fresh mint

  • Flaky sea salt

  • Optional: toasted sourdough slices

Assembly (It’s Not a Recipe)

  1. Toss strawberries with balsamic, honey, and lemon zest. Let them sit for 5 minutes until syrupy.

  2. Place the burrata on a plate—off-center, no pressure.

  3. Spoon strawberries around and over. Let the juices run wild.

  4. Scatter pistachios. Tear mint with your hands. Don’t overthink it.

  5. Finish with flaky salt.


    Serve with toasted sourdough for extra drama.
